Stunning natural stone bridge
Location
6313 Menzingen
Description
The old Lorzentobel Bridge connects the municipalities of Baar and Menzingen across a deep gorge. Completed in 1910, the sandstone viaduct spans the Lorzentobel with five arches at a height of up to 58 meters. Next to the arch viaduct are a covered wooden bridge (1759) and a modern concrete bridge (1985) – three generations of bridges side by side.
