First concrete church in central Switzerland
Location
Spitalstrasse 93

Description
St Karli Church is one of the most important Swiss church architecture buildings of the 20th century. It was the first concrete church in central Switzerland to be consecrated in 1934 and is characterised by its high bell tower, its location as a bridgehead on the banks of the Reuss and its terracing. The protruding roof and the whitish colour make the church even from far away recognisable.
