Description
The Viscosistadt, in the south of the municipality of Emmen, is developing on the old site of the Société de la Viscose Suisse, which was known for the production of artificial silk (today Monosuisse). Today, the large-scale industrial and commercial area is home to the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts and many workplaces of the creative industries. Temporarily, production halls and rooms can be used. Many scenes of the Lucerne "Tatort" were filmed in these between 2012 and 2018.
