Bye bye Bojan

For two years, Bojan Karan was the head of our back office: with his open and friendly manner, he immediately gained access to all our stakeholders and reliably ensured that everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. His appearance as Isabella Rossellini's escort on the Blue Carpet at the EFA 2024 in Lucerne remains unforgettable. Now he has almost completed his master's degree in economics at the University of Bern and is ready to move on to new horizons.

Thank you very much, Bojan. We will miss you and wish you all the best on your new path.

PS: We will report on Bojan's successor and further organizational developments in spring 2026.

Action in the canton of Schwyz

In November, filming took place for the action comedy THE SPECIAL AGENTS. The film was shot at various locations in the canton of Schwyz, some of which are high-profile, including the town hall, government building, and police station in Schwyz, the hospital in Einsiedeln, and the Ameos Seeklinikum in Brunnen.

The collaboration between the production companies 89 Productions from Brunnen and Orisono from Lucerne has already proven successful in previous film projects. Whereas previous projects were mainly international co-productions and service productions, this time they worked together as a service production on behalf of Sleeping Cat Productions from Zurich.

► In this clip, production manager Desmond Hudson talks about the shoot.

From alpine to urban – and everything in between: Central Switzerland offers a wide variety of landscapes in a small area, as well as unique locations. In each newsletter, we present one of these locations.

This time, it is a former Capuchin monastery in the canton of Uri:

This atmospheric ensemble, with its beautiful gardens and its own vineyard, overlooks Altdorf and offers a fantastic view of the Uri mountains. Today, it is a cultural and seminar center with atmospheric event rooms for seminars, concerts, exhibitions, and private events, courtyards, a monastery church, and an open garden with a café.
