Breathtaking path to the longest open-air lift in Europe.

Location

Description

In 1905, a path was carved into the steeply sloping rock of the Bürgenberg to provide a walking path for the guests of the hotels on the Bürgenstock. The breathtaking path leads through numerous tunnels and along the high cliff. The spectacular view over Lake Lucerne, to Lucerne and into the wide Mittelland make the path a unique walk. The path also leads to the Hammetschwand_Lift
