Description

In 1890, Princess Elenora Cenci of Vicovaro purchased the land on a hilltop and had a large English landscape garden built. Today's public Dreilinden Park is characterized by the former Vicovaro Conservatory, an economy building, a gatehouse, an artificial gate ruin and a grotto as well as marble sculptures scattered throughout. The largest park in Lucerne offers a wonderful panorama of Lake Lucerne and the mountains of Central Switzerland.
