Description
The Hammetschwand Lift, as the highest open-air lift in Europe, transports passengers from the Felsenweg to the Hammetschwand (the highest point of the Bürgenstock). The lift was built in 1905 to conquer 153 meters of height in a short time. The lift and the Felsenweg are considered the attraction of the Bürgenstock tourist resort.
