Description
The Lido lido, one of Switzerland's largest bathing facilities, is in a wonderful location on Lucerne's lake basin with a view of Mount Pilatus and the Central Swiss Alps.
The huge area, which dates from 1929, contains a wide sandy beach, a diving tower, paddling pools, a playground and the dominant blue main building (opened in 1999). The round building on the lake houses a modern bar and restaurant, from which you get a perfect view of Lucerne Bay.
